Cupcake Bouquet +

We’re gonna switch.  Let’s take these cups down. We’re going to go to the (2g).

The hardest part of this cupcake centerpiece is that the cupcakes don’t fall off.

You’re going to put the flowers on it?

I’m just seeing how many I need, so that I know that I made enough. But you flower them first, then stick them on the toothpick.

So we’re going to put some toothpicks, and let the cupcake kind of sit in between two toothpicks, so that it’ll stay on.

How many is that?

26.

And I’m going to pipe some flowers real tight on them, so it will look like a beautiful bouquet.

That’s lovely. Keep going, you’ve got three hundred more.

300!

I think it would’ve took a shorter time if I had grown these flowers than pipe them. There’s a lot of cupcakes gotta be piped. That be nice. So the gaps between the cupcakes, we’re going to fill them with tissue paper, so it looks like leaves.  You done with that, Liz?

Uh, almost, I’ve gotta finish putting in the green in.

Alright, put it over here next to this one. Come check it out.

I love it. It’s like a botanical gardens.

I like the bouquet that matches the cake. I think it looks cool.

I’m pretty obsessed with the hydrangea bunches.

I gotta tell you, I just love floral wedding cakes. I mean, it’s what I had at my wedding. I just hope that Jessie and Dan love it.

Oh, are those cupcakes on there? I just got that. That’s the cutest thing I’ve ever seen.

Ralph, for your birthday, that’s what we’re going to do.

I love that. And the cupcake centerpieces are going to look fantastic.

I think it was a really clever idea. I think we’re going to be doing more of these things.

Let’s get it outta here.

Another one in the books!

Hi…

How’re ya doin?  Buddy.

Dan.

Pleasure, pleasure to meet you Dan.

Hi.

Hi, great to see you again.

Hi. How are you? How’s it going?

Good, good.

You guys excited?

Yeah, very.

So today’s Dan and Jessie’s wedding and I’m bringing the cake by a little bit earlier, because they’re going over their final preparations, and I’m just excited for them to see it.

So, I heard that you guys had a really crazy engagement. What’s the story here?

That we went away to the Dominican Republic, and we were eating. And then half way through, he pops the question, and my mind just went blank. I’m like, hold on one second. I got up, I walked to the beach and I got sick.

She ran to the beach.

Oh, my god, really?

Yeah.

Definitely in some culture that’s gotta be good luck.

And the waiter’s standing there looking at me. He’s like, did it not go well? I don’t know.

Well, I can tell you one thing. We’re so psyched to give you this cake. Wait till you see the cupcakes.

The wedding is the easy part. The cake is the hard part. It’s what you’re nervous about it, because you don’t know what’s going to come through the door.

Oh my gosh.

Look at the centerpiece.

That is awesome.

That’s awesome.

Oh, my goodness. That is awesome.

He was spot on with the color, with the gold.

I know.

If he had did ivory, it would have not popped as much.

I know. This is amazing!

I was a little worried when Jessie told me that there was going to be gold possibly, but it looks so great.

This is amazing.

I put a little texture in it, just to make it a little bit more modern.

Yeah.

And then, you know, just the variation of the blushes with the whites, and a little sporadic purple here and there.

I know, I love it.

It matches everything.

My biggest thing is the petals and stuff, because they are piped so well. I didn’t think that the gold was going to do that much, but the flowers really pop out. I was really taken back by it.

And what about the centerpieces?

That is gorgeous.

Isn’t that great?

Are you sure those are cupcakes?

That does not look like cupcakes.

Hopefully they will not pick up my cupcakes as soon as they come sit down. I just don’t want my cupcakes to go away. The just look pretty. I don’t want to touch them honestly.

Thank you for letting me have a little creative freedom with the colors. I told you I wouldn’t let you down.

You definitely didn’t.

I really love it, because it really goes with this house.

Thank you so much. A pleasure. Congrats.

(Note: Thank yous all around)

 Enjoy the cake guys.

Yeah.

Take care.

Oh, my god.

Bye bye.

You know, whenever I show clients their cake, especially weddings, I’m a little nervous, but there’s just a few that you know that they’re going to love. This was one of them.

Dan and Jess, congratulations. We love ya.

2nd Video –

So, I have these cupcakes to fill. See if you have these, Mary. Bring them in the front.  There’s a pan in the walker box, the vanilla buttercream (Note: vanilla cupcake with buttercream frosting).

Okay.

Alright?

The next step to the process of the 25th anniversary, getting married again, I gotta go in and propose again. I mean, I know she’s gonna say yes. I hope she says yes, but I’m still a little nervous.

Thank you so much.

Hi baby.

Thank you so much. Have a great day.

When you get a chance, come upstairs. I’ve gotta talk with you.

Wait a minute, what’s going on?

When you get a chance, come upstairs.

Really?

Yes.

I’m going to come up now, because I can’t wait. What’s going on?

I don’t know. Go with Dad.

You do. You never keep secrets from me. I’m surprised that you are.

Just go.

So, I’m here to do it again. 25 years later, I’m going to propose to Madeline again. At the bakery, the way I did it the first time, and I hope she says yes.  I think she’s going to be surprised. I don’t think she’s going to think that I’m going to get down on one knee and give her the ring again, so… It’s going to be nice to see how she reacts, and I’m sure she’s going to be surprised.

Seriously!

Come here!

(Mockingly) Come here.

This is important, come on.

What’s going on?

It’s important. Sit down.

Why am I sitting? Do you have some bad news for me? What do you want me to sit down for?

Just sit down. Alright. So…You’re making me laugh. So, I figured since we’re gonna the anniversary and stuff, I wanted to do everything the old-fashioned way, so I figured I’d propose again.

Oh my gosh!

Do you recognize it?

Yeah.

It’s had a little work done to it, so… Not much, but…

Looks good!

Will you marry me first?

Absolutely.

You sure, right?

Positive.

Positive?

Yes!

You said yes? You sure?

I’m positive.

I won’t put it on until you say yes.

It’s yes!

Awesome.

It’s definitely the original ring, and I would never part with this ring. It’s very sentimental to me. I was very surprised. He added some bling to this ring.

Did you ask my brother, because you can’t ask my father.

No, I asked you mother. She’s the boss.

Oh, you asked my mother, that’s right.

She’s the head of the family.

And did she say yes?

She said yes.

She says I gotta [ask you].  Alright dear?  I love you.

Oh my god, I’m so excited.

Alright? Alright?

Thank you!

I love you. Now get back to work!

Oh, that’s nice.

He’s just so excited about it. That’s what makes me even happier. I mean, listen, the feeling is mutual with both of us.

She said yes!

Yes!!

I still can’t believe that 25 years have gone by so fast.

Listen guys, 25 years ago I married my wife for the first time, and I’m going to marry her again. She actually said yes just now, so… Alright, huh?!  Thank you. Thank you, guys.

Now we’ve gotta plan the wedding. We’ve got a lot of stuff to plan. Alright, dear?

Very good.

Aw, congratulations, you guys.

Thank you, thank you.
