Count Nouns

Count nouns are nouns you can count. All nouns are count or non-count. To learn about non-count nouns, click here.

Examples of Count Nouns:

  • glass
  • rooms
  • hospital
  • man
  • dogs
  • bottles
  • clocks
  • apple
  • trucks

To consider if a noun is a count noun, try counting it. For example: one hospital, two hospitals.
