Feelings

We talk about feelings with “to be” in the present tense.

Examples:

            I am nervous.

            He is lonely.

            The girl is afraid of the dark.

            They are confident about their test results.

Look at each word below. Look up any words you don’t know.

Weather

We also talk about weather with “to be” in present tense.

Examples:

            It is sunny.

            It is warm.

            It is cold and windy.

            It is hot and humid.

These words describe the weather.
